I've heard it said, "there is no way to be effective in team building activities with a remote workforce."  When its remote- its different for sure but it is absolutely possible!  You have to get creative and do things differently but, you can definitely increase employee engagement and build your department and organization.

1. Social Media Groups: Create social media groups or channels dedicated to work-related topics and interests.

     Example 1: A digital marketing agency could create a Facebook group for employees to share and discuss the latest trends in the industry.
